Youth and adults from LSCC traveled to Hutchinson, Kansas, to work with Interfaith Housing Services. The group painted an 8-plex of subsidized housing, poured a sidewalk and built a handicapped ramp for a widow caring for her elderly mother, and repaired a rock wall and a roof.

The group stayed in dorms located on the campus of Hutchinson Community College and were served meals by many local churches and businesses. In addition to the service projects, the group had the opportunity to visit the Cosmosphere, swim in a local lake and participated in games with local youth groups.
