Care Ministries

This ministry includes the Befriender Ministry Program. Befrienders (volunteer lay ministers) provide pastoral care to people in difficult and transitional situations, such as illness, loneliness, or loss of a loved one. They embody the caring presence of God and of the community and serve as a living reminder of God's love.

Care Ministry has also been involved with Grief Support Groups, educational seminars such as CPR classes, Healthy Eating, and Spiritual Journeys are presented at various times. Different organizations such as ToughLove have been available for members and the community through Care Ministry.
